SKY WATCH FRIDAY # 27

From left to right, Professor Luís Filipe (owner and skipper of the sailing barge «SALVARAM-ME»), Professor Ricardo Conduto (owner and skipper of the sailing barge «GAVIÃO DOS MARES»), Professor Carvalho Rodrigues (owner and co-skipper of the sailing Barge «ANA PAULA»), Sailor Mum, Sailor Girl, all members and fellows of the Tagus Navy, followed by members of Portuguese Navy and also of the Tagus Navy Association, Admiral Castanho Paes, Rear Admiral Bastos Saldanha, Captain CMG Rodrigues Pereira (Director of the Museum) and Wife.
The Flag of Atlântico Azul, formally adopted by the Tagus Navy under my glad and honoured authorisation , proudly waving (no wind, though) high up in Lisbon's clear Blue Sky last Saturday, April 18th, on the Cerimony held at the Navy Museum, in Belém (Lisbon), where it was placed on a permanent basis. The Navy Museum (Museu de Marinha) has also a section about the Tagus Navy, its Book of Registration, models of traditional ships from the Tagus River.
After the Cerimony, I was honoured with a warm Happy Birthday song!!! A contribution to Sky Watch Friday, wishing you a really Happy Day!...

The colourless sky suggests heat but everyone looks well wrapped up.
Lovely to see the name Ana Paula - I once taught a lovely little girl by that name.
