MARCH 2010 - THEME DAY

Today's Theme Day at CDPB is... PASSAGEWAY. I chose this one, used mainly by seagulls and tugs by the Tagus River. Unfortunatelly, the tug in the picture («Caramujo») has recently been sold to Angola, along with «Montevil». They will sail away soon and will both be missed. A contribution to CDPB, wishing you a really Happy Day, all over the World!... Click here to view thumbnails for all participants

That's a fine photo, looks great in the large view.

Yes, I agree with Steffe. THe tug is going through a very heavy swell to get through the passageway and the gulls are pointing directly into the wind. Good choice.

Ah, you found a unique passageway for our day.
Tugs are so special, and this photo is extra special.

Quite fitting that you used a nautical selection for the passageways theme.

Very nice... the tug leaves Lisbon in March, being replaced in the local Svitzer fleet by a more modern one...

She's beautiful! The beach must drop right off - she looks like she's juuuuust offshore. Beautiful interpretation!
