CREOULA departing Lisbon today, on a new Mission

Photo taken today at 9 p.m. by Sailor Girl, of [CREOULA] departing to Selvagens Islands. I will further describe today's event and this important mission. Until then, a beautiful image of this beautiful Portuguese Ship passing under Lisbon Bridge, with Christ the King blessing her.

WE WELCOMED «SANTA MARIA MANUELA»!!!

Photo by Sailor Girl of newly reborn and refitted «SANTA MARIA MANUELA», «CREOULA»'s twin sister (born in Lisbon, on May 10th, 1937). She came to Lisbon on May 11th, where she met her sister, after 40 years of separation and unbearable agony. They both welcomed the Pope, who had a magnificent view to all beautiful ships that were allowed to attend the Mass. It was a grand emotion. We were not able to save «MAXIM GORKYI» from her unfortune and unnecessary slaughter and scrap at Alang Beach, but at least we were compensated by this great miracle!!! Long Live All Ships' Saviours!!!... In this case, Pascoal Family and Portuguese Navy!!!

Isto está a ficar difícil para todos, até para o proprietário do FUNCHAL, agora que os espanhóis da Pullmantur (que, pasme-se, ainda não me convidaram para trabalhar com eles - vide ESTE meu post) resolveram fazer-nos concorrência com o ATLANTIC STAR (que também é muito bonito, mas não tem o encanto nem a elegância do nosso FUNCHAL). Enfim, coisas.
