I have just watched (at 5 p.m. in Lisbon) Mr. President Barack Obama becoming the 44th President of the United States! Minutes before the orchestra played an awsome music called «Air and Simple Gifts», by Yo-Yo Ma. Until I am not able to find it, I've just added two versions of the song, now playing at Rádio Atlântico Azul!!!...
As Richies, from [An Arkie's Musings], so well refers, I also hope «...that we in all countries will be able to reach out to each other a try for what is best for all people»!...

What a real great country the USA is. Great lesson on Democracy and tolerance. I think that today - like it was on 9/11 - we are all a bit American. Mr Obama won't solve all things - perhaps not even most things - but the process and not simply the fact that has now started is the most significant lesson to undue all evil done in past years and also on the making against us - freedom and democracy loving people - by all those that are not able to love, share, evolve, tolerate etc. God Bless America !

I proud to be an American today. This is a milestone. President Obama has a lot of challenges ahead.
It was a great event, but may God help him indeed, contemplating the state of the world, it can hit your nerves. I liked the phraze "you will be remembered/respected of what you build, not what you destroyed".
