Photos taken by Sailor Girl at Cascais of a beautiful building right in front of the sea (the same in the pictures posted on March 13th). Cascais is a coastal village 30 kilometres west of Lisbon, and one of its municipalities. It is also one of the richest municipalities in Portugal. The former fishing village gained fame as a resort for Portugal's Royal Family in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Nowadays it is a popular vacation spot for both Portuguese and foreign tourists. I will soon post more photos with some facts about this beautiful spot, under the label «Cascais».

Obrigada pelas dicas!

I love the architectural details and colors of the buildings in Lisbon. They are all so beautiful! You are a luck girl to live where you do.
