A contribution both to THAT'S MY WORLD TUESDAY AND to Theme Day at CDPB today (the theme is... «BIG»), automatically posted today. Click here to view thumbnails for all participants * Este post, publicado automaticamente, é um contributo simultâneo para o THAT'S MY WORLD TUESDAY e para o Tema do Dia no CDPB (o tema é... «GRANDE»).

THAT'S MY WORLD TUESDAY # 36

(All photos in this post by our Friend [Zélia])
Photo of the «UNKNOWN SAILORS» aboard a traditional sailing barge from Barreiro, member of the «Tagus Navy» who were the ABSOLUTE WINNERS of the race of Atlântico Azul held last Saturday!!! Though I consider that everybody was a winner for having participated, these BRAVE SAILORS from the Tagus were the only ones to finnish the Race according to the Rules, which allow both sailing AND rowing! An example of PERSISTENCE and HONNOUR and LOYALTY to all of us, specially to the Younger, who have so much to learn nowadays!!! A contribution to THAT'S MY WORLD TUESDAY!...
Viva a Marinha do Tejo!»
«Agradecemos-lhe muito [Zélia]!!! Estes homens são... Homens de respeito!!!!! Os mais jovens percebam os mais velhos!... Imitemos a honradez e a lealdade ao objectivo maior... Aprendamos com eles!...»
ADENDA

THAT'S MY WORLD TUESDAY # 29

Photo by Sailor Girl of a mural painting at Horta, with a reference to «CREOULA», my favourite Tall Ship (made in Portugal in 1937)!... And so... My World has beautiful walls painted «CREOULA» all over them! A contribution to THAT'S MY WORLD TUESDAY.

THAT'S MY WORLD TUESDAY # 28

My very own World is a beautiful place by the River where even seaguls may wander freely as birds should always do. Where people may quietly sit and relax for as long as they wish, without having to pay for it. In my World, people should learn how to complain and to force the port authorities to hear them before preventing them from wandering freely by the River, which in fact is actually happening, I'm affraid... THAT'S MY WORLD TUESDAY # 23

Photo by Sailor Girl of Lisbon's Sunday Sky, River and Bridge, with Portuguese cruise ship FUNCHAL of 1961, still with her original name and Portuguese flag! A contribution to THAT'S MY WORLD TUESDAY, which I invite you all to visit as soon as possible. You won't regret it!
Enfim, coisas.
