[CREOULA], sailing off from Lisbon to Cascais in 1988...
(Photo by Luís Miguel Correia, posted today at our joint blog)
I’ve been tagged by [Gordon], from Adelaide (South Australia) to play along in the New Year's Resolution game. He was tagged by Carol Anne of [Arkansas Times]. Here is how the game goes:
When it comes to New Year’s Resolutions we seem to fall into four categories:
  1. Quite serious about them;
  2. Flippant about them;
  3. Pressured to do them; or
  4. Do not do them.
So, the purpose of this little game is to let us know which category you are in. I will give mine, then tag 3 other sites to do the same thing. I think I fall into category 3 (though sometimes I do not do them at all). I have a couple of ongoing goals/resolutions which are to take my driver's licence, to eat less chocolates, to quit smoking, to go on vacations, preferably aboard my favourite ship «CREOULA». To achieve these I will probably need psichological support... And a little help from my Friends!!...
Now to tag three others: Luís Miguel Correia, from [Ships & The Sea] (Lisbon), Teresa from [Caniche Vagabundo] and Velas do Tejo, from [Academia de Vela].
If you haven’t already, go check out their sites, as well as Gordon's and Carol Anne's!!! Not forgetting [CREOULA]...

O mar representa o sonho. O mar marca a diferença entre aqueles que gostam da ousadia das ondas e os que preferem a calma das praias.

Beautiful photo with such soft colors!
Hope you stick to your resolutions.

I certainly would love to sail on a ship like that. Good luck with your resolutions.

Wow, you are going to be busy this year. I used to smoke and even though it has been ten years since I gave up I think it's a bit like being an alcoholic...the demon is always there. Good luck
