GO, LIMA!! GO GO GO!!!
Gustavo Lima venceu hoje uma regata no Campeonato do Mundo da Classe Laser, a decorrer em Terrigal (Austrália), está na 12ª posição da geral e tem já presença garantida nos Jogos Olímpicos de Pequim de 2008 (a sua terceira participação olímpica), sendo uma das fortes hipóteses de medalha de Portugal no torneio de vela!!! Terrigal, a delightful holiday town about 1.5 hours drive north from Sydney, is the venue for the 2008 Laser World Championships. The superb climate, open sailing water, beautiful local beaches and excellent onshore facilities are drawing hundreds of Australian and overseas competitors to this major international event. The host club and organising authority is [Gosford Sailing Club]. The 2008 Laser Worlds consists of two regattas. First is the Laser Standard World Championship, from Monday 4 February to Wednesday 13 February. Entry to the Standard Worlds was by pre-qualification and was limited to 150 of the best Olympic-level Laser sailors in the world. Around 60 countries are represented and many competitors are seeking to qualify for the Beijing Olympics.
