Did you know I was there last week?
Although only for a day - to participate in a conference about Africa Day.
By the way, the Portuguese dignitary in charge of opening the event had to leave early because he had to attend the welcome ceremony for the King and Queen of Norway...
Of course, I couldn't see much of Lisbon this time, but was presented with a somewhat disturbing view right in front of the hotel I was staying in: the Feira Popular totally gone, completely erased!
That's where one would eat the best sardines in town...
