ABC Wednesday # 08

For today's letter, «U», I chose «UNITY», one of the pillars of Atlântico Azul and part of its motoUm só Oceano. Uma Só Cor. O Atlântico Azul»). Briefly, Atlântico Azul represents the great Discovery made by the Portuguese Sailors that all oceans were United. To illustrate it, I chose a beautiful music by The Lighthouse Family, «High», one of my favs from this band, now playing at Rádio Atlântico Azul (with three extra ones...)!!!! And here goes part of the lyrics:
«When you're close to tears remember someday it'll all be over. One day we're gonna get so high! Though it's darker than December, what's ahead is a different colour, one day we're gonna get so high! And at the end of the day remember the days when we were close to the end and wonder how we made it through the night! At the end of the day remember the way we stayed so close to the end! We'll remember it was me and you, 'cause we are gonna be FOREVER, YOU AND ME, you will always keep me flying high in the sky of love! Don't you think it's time you started doing what we always wanted, one day we're gonna get so high! 'Cause even the impossible is easy when we got each other, one day we're gonna get so high! (...)»
A contribution to Ms. Nesbitt's [ABC Wednesday], of which I am a proud team member!!!... Have a very Happy Day, my Friends!...

I always loved the AA flag and the UNITY of OCEANS explanation behind it. Life secrets are best unraveled by those daring to come out of ourselves, leave our one self and merge with what is around us like the Sea. Great post, great music, great thoughts. You are a true Seglerin.

Unity of oceans; something I had not thought about - a good discovery by the Portuguese. I love your music choice too.

Thank you, Norton - Hans Christian and thank you too, Gordon and, being an Australian, from «Down Under» (I love this expression), you have probably heard in your local news and in a book written that it was the Portuguese who «Found» Australia!!!
(the aborigene who lived there when we, the Crazy Portuguese Sailors, arrived may not like the idea, I guess... LOOOOOOOLLLLLL)

I Thank all my visitors and friends who have been leaving so many nice comments and ask you to forgive my absence of reply, but I have not been able to visit you as much as I would desire...

HAVE AN EXCELLENT DAY, FOLKS!!!
