Beijinhos!!...
Water? You mentioned WATER?!... Congratulations!!! You came to the right city!!! The people from Lisbon are specialists in what water concerns!... There is plenty of water in River Tagus (Lisbon). And we keep refilling it so that all ships, specially the BIG ones, continue calling our port and being able to pass under the Bridge. There is also plenty of water in the bottom of the Ocean, the Atlantic Blue!... All photos by Sailor Girl. Please take a look at the other cities from CDPB who have joined Theme Day until now:

Sailor Girl,

Lovely choice for the water theme.

Dear All!! Thank you for your great comments, which are highly motivating!! I will check right away your own choices. I took these photos on 9th March 2008, already thinking about today’s theme. I thought, well I’ll take these just in case in don’t manage to take better ones until April… Well, I guess I was lucky. It was a beautiful afternoon, cloudy but sometimes sunny, took a ride in a friend’s ship and was luckier to catch «Norwegian Jade», of NCL, sailing away!

Clueless in boston: Thank you! I’m addicted to BLUE!!
George Townboy: I have more!!! LOOOL!!!
Kate: Yes, we are extremely lucky over here!!!
Annie: I'm also ready to board, to sail, to see the world!!! Let’s book a cruise!!!
Sally: Indeed, a true lifeforce!!! Thank you!!
Neva: Thank you! You’re inspiring!!
Jilly, Bergson and CrazyCow: it was a hard choice!!! Thank you!
magiceye: Thank you!!!
LUIS MIGUEL CORREIA: Pessimista? Eu?

The water spray, the ship and bridge - all elements of some great photos. I especially like your second one today, with liner framed by the spray.

Pirate Girl: And you are THE BEST SISTER one could have!!! But please do not drink so much Rhum!!! The Coke in it has lots of sugar!!! ;-)

Hi, Gordon!! Thank you! The spray was saluting the ship. We usually spray them on their first calls to Lisbon. It is a really beautiful salute!

Merci, Olivier!! J'aime beaucoup paquebots! I love Passenger Ships and I miss them when they are gone... and when they are scrapped (like the french «FRANCE») it is an unbearable agony...
