ABC WEDNESDAY - # 23 (V)

«V» is also for «VASCO DA GAMA», former «INFANTE DOM HENRIQUE», the first ship I cruised on, back in 1972. A contribution to ABC Wednesday.
Atlantic Blue. A blog with the scent of the sea breeze and the freshness of the Atlantic Ocean. A place where Dreams are linked to reality, where Happiness is formed like the waves on the Sea, according to the tides and the Moon...

The name makes me sail back to elementary school days in America, over half a century ago.
1972? You have been on the high seas for a few decades. Great.
I remember studying about Vasco de Gama waaay back in school. a new world explorer.
Love the clean lines of the ship. MB
This is the ship that started it all then Sailor girl? :) Hooray!
F is for Vasco da Gama! Heavenly photo! May he rest in peace. He must have been tired after all that exploring - good to lay down! LOL
A famous sailor and also a ship I may have a picture of somewhere.
Oh yes, I've heard of Vasco Da Gama! What intrepid people they were .. the sea captains, and their not-always-very-merry crews!
Certainly stirs my old brain cells! Lovely photos...
